Stars 2 is the level for 4 and 5-year-olds. After the year of listening comes the most exciting moment: English starts to come out on its own, in the first sentences spoken during play.

By the end of the year in Stars 2, every child:

Understands increasingly longer stories and instructions

Builds a vocabulary that grows every week

Answers the teacher and asks their own questions

Uses their first spontaneous sentences while playing with classmates

What the week looks like

120 minutes a week: dynamic learning + Creative Lab

The dynamic learning session

60 minutes with children the same age, up to 6. Songs, movement, stories, games on the interactive whiteboard: the activity changes roughly every 15 minutes, so attention stays high and no one gets bored. No one is ever forced to speak: understanding comes first, and the words follow on their own.

The Creative Lab

60 minutes in which English is used for doing real things: cooking, planting, doing yoga, celebrating festivals from around the world. Children aged 3 to 6 together, 10 to 16 per group, with two native-speaker or bilingual teachers: the little ones learn by watching the older ones, the older ones learn to lead. Everyone lives the same adventure, each at their own level.

The second session of the week

The Creative Lab: English you do with your hands.

60 minutes to cook, act, experiment and celebrate in English. For children aged 3 to 6, with native-speaking or bilingual teachers. The second weekly session is included in the pathway.

Stars 2: answers for families

Stars 2, the KOKO Stars level for 4 and 5-year-olds. Children starting at 4 or 5 with no previous experience join after a short entry assessment, done like a game.

In Stars 1, children fall in love with English and learn to listen to it; in Stars 2, words multiply and the first sentences appear, spoken by the children themselves, not just repeated.

Yes. The KOKOland pathway runs from age 1 to 18 and is divided into stages designed for each age: Babies 1 (age 1) and Babies 2 (age 2); Stars 1 (age 3), Stars 2 (ages 4 and 5) and Stars 3 (age 6); Primary 1 (age 7), Primary 2 (age 8) and Primary 3 (ages 9 and 10); Junior 1 (age 11) and Junior 2 (ages 12 and 13); Teens 1 (age 14), Teens 2 (age 15) and Teens 3 (ages 16 to 18). Each level has its own goal for the year, and children move up one level at a time, together with their peers.
