Where we come from

The KOKOland team is truly varied and international: teachers from the USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, England, Scotland and Lithuania, Italian teachers who lived abroad for more than 15 years and, in the team, Ukraine too. It is a deliberate choice: a truly international environment for kids.

How we choose

Choosing the KOKOland team is a careful process, and it doesn't start with English: it starts with personality. Four stamps in the KOKOland passport, in this order.

After personality come qualifications. We ask KOKOland teachers for an international English-teaching qualification and C2-level English: native speakers or bilingual.

The team includes Italian teachers, who lived abroad for more than 15 years, and bilingual teachers; C2-level English is required of everyone. In KOKO Babies, for example, the teacher leads everything in English and shows the children what to do.
Dynamic learning, the method born at KOKOland: in 60 minutes the activity changes about every 15 minutes while the topic of the week stays the same, so attention stays high. Every teacher is trained in this method.
