At KOKOland you can start from age 1. KOKO Babies welcomes children aged 1 (Babies 1) and 2 (Babies 2), with a parent in the classroom. From age 3, children continue with KOKO Stars, then KOKO Primary (7–10), Junior (11–13) and Teens (14–18): a single pathway all the way to 18.
KOKO Babies is KOKOland's English pathway for children aged 1 and 2. It includes one 45-minute session a week and two sensory labs a month, from October to June, with a maximum of 5 children and a parent always in the classroom. Children learn through songs, movement and stories with Koko and the Koko Friends.
KOKOland has two schools in Puglia: in Martina Franca, at Via dei Cedri 3/A, our original school opened in 2022, and in Monopoli, at Via Fiume 6, open since January 2026. Both schools follow the same English pathways from age 1 to 18, with the same method and the same hours.

Yes. At KOKOland you can enrol during the school year too, if there's space in the right age group. Before joining, one of our teachers assesses the child's or teenager's level of English, to choose the best-suited group and keep the pathway consistent.
Yes. KOKOland offers a playful, non-evaluative online entry test: it takes about 20 minutes and is only used to guide the choice of pathway, not to give a mark. For younger children, it's done together with a parent. You'll find it on the “Test your English level” page of kokoland.it.
KOKOland's Demo Day is a free open day at our schools. It lasts about 30 minutes: children take part in an English activity with our team, in a small group of their own age, while parents get to know our method, spaces and pathways. Book online at info.kokoland.it/demo-day.
No. In the dynamic learning session, children are always grouped with peers of the same age: KOKO Stars has three levels by age (Stars 1 for 3-year-olds, Stars 2 for 4- and 5-year-olds, Stars 3 for 6-year-olds), and KOKO Primary has Primary 1 for 7-year-olds, Primary 2 for 8-year-olds and Primary 3 for 9- and 10-year-olds, in groups of up to 6. Mixed ages only happen in the Creative Lab, the week's second session, which is a deliberate teaching choice led by two native-speaker teachers.
How it works
Yes, optional ones. With the Cambridge book used in class, families get access to Cambridge One (ages 3 to 18), Cambridge's digital platform with songs, stories, videos and games at the same level as the work in class. In the KOKOland Live app the school also shares optional activities to do at home, for kids or for parent and child together; parents also receive school news and pay instalments there.
It's included. The two weekly sessions, dynamic learning and the Creative Lab, are a single pathway and fall under the same monthly fee. The Creative Lab isn't an optional extra: it's half of the KOKOland method, where the English learned in the dynamic learning session is put into practice.
In KOKO Stars (3–6) and KOKO Primary (7–10) there are two 60-minute sessions a week, so 120 minutes in total: dynamic learning and the Creative Lab. Junior and Teens have 120 minutes a week, split between LANGUAGE LAB and SPEAK UP. KOKO Babies (ages 1 and 2) has 45 minutes a week plus two sensory labs a month.
KOKOland's pathways follow the school year, from September to June; KOKO Babies runs from October to June. KOKO Stars and KOKO Primary have 2 hours a week (dynamic learning and Creative Lab), Junior and Teens have 120 minutes (LANGUAGE LAB and SPEAK UP); KOKO Babies has one session a week plus two sensory labs a month. From age 7, the Cambridge exam can be taken at the end of the year.
At KOKOland a session lasts 60 minutes for KOKO Stars, KOKO Primary, Junior and Teens, and 45 minutes for KOKO Babies (ages 1 and 2). Every session is dynamic: the activity changes roughly every 15 minutes, between games, songs, reading, role play and conversation, so attention stays high.
KOKO Stars (3–6) and KOKO Primary (7–10) have a dynamic learning session and a Creative Lab in English every week, with drama, art, music and storytelling. Junior (11–13) and Teens (14–18) have two weekly 60-minute sessions (120 minutes): LANGUAGE LAB — building the language and SPEAK UP — using the language. KOKO Babies (ages 1 and 2) has its own format, with a parent in the classroom.
At KOKOland, classes have a maximum of 6 children or teens; in KOKO Babies, a maximum of 5, each with a parent. In the KOKO Stars and KOKO Primary Creative Lab, groups range from 10 to 16 children, always with 2 native-speaker or bilingual teachers. Small groups mean every child gets to speak, be heard and be supported.
Yes. At KOKOland, each family chooses days and times from those available for their age group, subject to space in the groups. Our schools are open Monday to Friday 15:00–20:00 and Saturday 9:00–13:30: the school office will help you find the most convenient combination.
KOKOland's teaching team is made up of native-speaker and bilingual teachers, qualified and trained in the KOKOland method. The same team follows the children throughout the year, in the labs and over the summer at KokoCamp. The school is led by Aleksandra Augustinaviciute, who founded KOKOland in 2022.
There's no exact age: every child has their own pace. What matters is when they start and, above all, consistency. At KOKOland you can start from age 1 with KOKO Babies and continue all the way to 18: with regular exposure and a natural method, children learn to communicate in English with confidence and ease.
Because it plays a different role that complements dynamic learning: using English in real situations, through creative activities, group games and small projects. In KOKO Stars, the lab brings together children aged 3 to 6; in KOKO Primary, ages 7 to 10: the younger ones watch and learn from the older ones, while the older ones build communication and social skills. A 6-year-old doesn't do activities designed for a 3-year-old: the theme is shared, but teachers adapt the language, tasks and goals to each child's age. The dynamic learning session, on the other hand, is always with peers of the same age.

At KOKOland, Cambridge preparation is built into the pathway, with official materials, practice exercises and mock exams. From age 7, children sit Starters, Movers and Flyers; then A2 Key, B1 Preliminary and B2 First for Schools. Cambridge certificates confirm a student's level of English against the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and are recognised internationally.
At KOKOland, Cambridge exams are held on site, usually at the end of the school year, once the teaching team feels the child or teenager is ready. It starts at age 7 with Starters, Movers and Flyers, which have no pass or fail. Session dates are shared with families during the year.
KokoCamp is KOKOland's English summer camp for children aged 4 to 12, at Casale dei Pini, in the Itria Valley countryside, from late June to early August. The days combine games, sport, creative labs, outdoor activities and horse riding, all in English with the KOKOland team. Registrations for KokoCamp 2027 open in January.
KOKOland's study holidays are two weeks at an English college for young people aged 10 to 18, with the KOKOland team: English in class, sport, workshops, excursions and college life with students from all over the world. In summer 2026, the group went to Oxford, to St Edward's School. The waiting list for Oxford 2027 is now open.
KOKOland offers a two-week guarantee after enrolment: if the pathway isn't the right fit for the child or teenager, the family receives a full refund. The enrolment fee is paid as normal; within the following two weeks, you can change your mind. The guarantee applies at both our schools.
